We were there. Ready for Latto. Ready to get some Big Energy. But then… not much really happened. Time passed. The mood died. And in the end, we left too.
That’s the kind of thing that can happen, of course — but it was still a little anticlimactic to stand in a festive crowd and wait for a concert that never materialised. We still don’t quite know whether it was technical problems, a delayed flight, or just “rap-diva energy” in action. Either way, it stayed at the level of talk.
We had time to grab a draft beer, check Instagram, and reconsider our entire relationship with trap-pop — and then we couldn’t be bothered anymore.
A concert we never got. But thanks for the trip to and from the stage. We later heard rumours that she apparently did appear for a brief moment. A shame for the fans, and a shame for Tinderbox.
