We stood there. Ready for Latto. Ready to get Big Energy. But then... nothing really happened. Time passed. The mood died. And in the end, we went too.
That's what can happen, of course -- but it was still a bit anticlimactic to stand in a celebratory audience waiting for a concert that never materialized. We still don't quite know if it was technical problems, delayed flight or just “rap-diva-energy” in action. At least that was the talk.
We got to have a beer, check Instagram and rethink our whole relationship with trap-pop — and then we didn't care anymore.
A concert we never got. But thanks for the ride to and from the stage. We subsequently heard rumors that she appeared to be coming for a brief moment. Too bad for the fans and too bad for Tinderbox.
